He doesn’t care about the politics, or the fact that Syndulla was a political rival before the war – the only thing that matters is freeing Ryloth.īack at the Capital, Tambor gets chewed out by Hologram Count Dooku – the command droid went to Dooku on his own and said Tambor was doing “pitifully.” Dooku tells Tambor to take what valuables he can and destroy the rest – they can use the “charred ruins of Ryloth” politically, as an example of “the cost of a Republic victory.” They prepare their bombers, and the command droid prepares a ship for Wat Tambor. Palpatine and the Twi’lek Senator (his name is Taa, and he’s a big fat dude) don’t like this plan – they don’t think Syndulla can be trusted – but Windu knows they can’t win without him. Windu wants to enlist the help of the freedom fighters, led by a radical named Cham Syndulla, who has become a hero to the people through his battles against the droids. Windu skypes with the other forces and the Senators on Palpatine, and tells them the Lessu is well-fortified – the only way in or out of the city is a plasma bridge, which can be turned off like a holographic drawbridge.

The command droid believes they should retreat, but Tambor doesn’t think Windu has enough troops to secure the city.

Windu reviews their losses with his second-in-command (Razor) – but unbeknownst to them, they’re being watched by a probe droid…īack in the capital, Wat Tambor (the green guy with the robot voice) is watching the signal with his command droid (another one, I guess there’s a bunch of those running around). And, despite running headlong into oncoming tank fire, Mace Windu and the rest of the clones on their super-dumb running-bikes manage to blow up all the droids.
